@Heino1 you could very well be right. I was basing my ID on the widely spaced lamellae combined with the texture of the stipe, and thought it was a dried-out Laccaria. I'll undo the confirmation and have a closer look. :)

I'm not convinced that this is a Laccaria. A close look at the left hand side of the cap in the second photo makes me wonder if there are traces of a flimsy partial veil left attached - so perhaps this is a Cortinarius or a Tubaria.

It looks like spore-covered remnants of a cobwebby partial veil are stuck on the stem.
