While the variety here is not identified, the Bradford variety has a reputation for being prone to this sort of weak branching structure. In the first photo, looking east, the boundary of the Mount Majura Nature Reserve is visible.
As I said "Abread" there's a need to respect the privacy and confidentiality of the owners of homes and vehicles here. Therefore the actual location Must remain Hidden and Confidential. This is not negotiable from my perspective. Otherwise I will delete the post Entirely. The precise location is Irrelevant to raising awareness about this Invasive species. Please bear in mind that there are legal issues and Insurance claims involved here.
Then why locate the sighting in what is obviously the wrong street? The car is not visible and neither is the house in the photos. And only you and I can see the location info and I guess the moderators for plants. The house is not identifiable because of the angle of the photo. For the first photo, you could use the image editor to cut off part of the left hand side of the photo where there is housing. The focus is on the tree collapsing and causing damage. This tree was subsequently removed by cutting off at ground level.
With all due respect, I feel you've missed the point of what I have previously mentioned ("Abread"). There is a bigger picture concern here which in my opinion over-rides the importance of "precise location". Refer to email correspondence please. Thanks for your understanding, Discussion closed.
