Steve is an avid advocate for improved community facilities for all ages and capabilities as well as better facilities and access to the Murrumbidgee River in Tuggeranong and the ACT. The Tuggeranong Archery Club is the caretaker for almost 90 acres of land from Greenway Oval and Pine Island almost across to the historic Tuggeranong Stone Wall. You will find Steve every weekend looking after the Tuggeranong Archery Multi-use Indoor Hall, the archers, or one the numerous outdoor archery areas - Beginners Target, Main Outdoor Target, Clout, Marked Field, Unmarked Field, Clout, and Bhutan Archery Ranges. Come down on a Sunday morning and have a look as the club runs Come-and-Try archery from 9:30 to 11am at the end of Soward Way in Greenway, but don't be too disappointed if Steve has wandered off to inspect one of the numerous archer ranges adjacent to the Murrumbidgee.
